Yasamin Mahallaty

FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST

Yasamin “Yasi” Mahallaty has over a decade of experience supporting students in schools and on college campuses. She previously served as Director of Graduate Support at Cristo Rey New York High School and Assistant Director of the Georgetown Scholars Program at Georgetown University.

Her work centers on expanding college access and success for first-generation, low-income students. Having witnessed the transformative power of educational opportunity, Yasi is deeply committed to advancing equity in education. She considers it a privilege to work alongside schools.

A lifelong learner, Yasi earned an MSEd in School Counseling from Fordham University and an MA in Educational Policy from Georgetown University. After many years on the East Coast, she now calls San Diego, California home.
