Shannon McPhee
FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST
With over sixteen years as a fundraising professional and nonprofit leader, Shannon brings a diverse background and skill set to DMD. She specializes in building major gift programs, development department management, grant writing, and capital campaign management. During her career, Shannon has raised over $500 million for nonprofits including The Apollo, Whitney Museum of American Art, Aperture Foundation, Museum of Food and Drink, Chashama, and Baltimore Museum of Art.
During her four years as Senior Director at international consultancy firm CCS Fundraising, Shannon worked with organizations including Alvin Ailey, the International Tennis Hall of Fame, the Archdiocese of New York, Portledge School, and Cristo Rey Brooklyn.
Shannon is a graduate of Western Michigan University, where she double majored in Theatre Performance and Theatre Design and Technical Production, while minoring in Art History. She holds an MFA in Theatre Arts from Towson University.
