Melissa Cording
SENIOR FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST
Melissa is an accomplished advancement professional with deep experience supporting educational and social service institutions. In addition to her work at DMD Consulting, she is the Chief Philanthropy Officer at Women's Lunch Place. In her last role as Director of Development at Bridge Over Troubled Waters in Boston, MA, she shepherded a $46M comprehensive campaign, "A Path Home for Every Youth," helped to secure their largest gift of $2.5M, and grew philanthropic support by 100% over three years. She previously served as the Director of Development at Pine Street Inn, and her first role in development was as the first full-time Director of Advancement at Nativity School of Worcester in Worcester, MA.
Melissa holds an MBA from the Carroll School of Management at Boston College and BA in English and history from the College of the Holy Cross. She lives in Boston, MA, with her husband and their two children. She is active in the community, serving as the fundraising committee chair for Roslindale Village Main Street and as President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Massachusetts Chapter.
