Marissa Donoghue

FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST

Marissa is a nonprofit professional and licensed clinical social worker with more than a decade of experience advancing mission-driven organizations through fundraising, relationship management, and direct service. She began her career in development with the Cristo Rey Network, serving in advancement associate roles at Cristo Rey Brooklyn and Cristo Rey New York, where she managed fundraising operations, donor engagement, events, and communications.

After returning home to Boston, Marissa joined Cristo Rey Boston High School as an Advancement Officer, helping to lead fundraising initiatives, cultivate donor relationships, and support strategic development efforts that strengthened the school's mission. Most recently, Marissa served as a Social Worker at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program where she provided behavioral health services, clinical case management, and care coordination for individuals experiencing homelessness.

Marissa brings a collaborative, relationship-centered approach to her work, combining strategic nonprofit leadership with a deep commitment to improving outcomes for underserved communities.

Marissa graduated from The College of the Holy Cross and earned her MSW from Boston College School of Social Work. She lives south of Boston with her husband and young son.
