Margie O’Connor Raho

For more than a decade, Margie has dedicated her career to helping nonprofit organizations develop aspirational and sustainable development initiatives that strengthen fundraising performance and enhance mission-impact. A proactive and intuitive strategic advisor, Margie values taking a “shoulder-to-shoulder” approach, partnering with client organizations across all sectors in fundraising strategy, campaign design and implementation, major gifts, feasibility studies, strategic planning, and development assessments. Margie feels privileged to work alongside nonprofit leaders who are making an impact within their communities and throughout our world today.
Prior to her work as a fundraising strategist and philanthropy consultant, Margie was a Vice President at CCS Fundraising where she managed development and campaign initiatives for nonprofits within the New York Metropolitan area and throughout New England with financial goals ranging from $1 million to $1 billion. She has also held positions in frontline fundraising, grantmaking, and programmatic roles.
Margie holds a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from George Mason University and a bachelor’s degree in Spanish for International Service and Latin American Studies from the Catholic University of America. She previously served on the Leadership Team and Strategy Committee for the Young Nonprofit Professional’s Network of Washington, DC and is an active member of her local community in Stonington, Connecticut.
