Kimberly A. Smith
SENIOR FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST
Kim has spent nearly two decades in fundraising and development. She believes that relationships are at the heart of successful philanthropy and that effective fundraising efforts are a blend of both art and science.
For ten years, Kim worked with Arrupe Jesuit High School in Denver, first as Director of Philanthropy for six years. After relocating for personal reasons, she stayed on for another four years, developing a robust grant program for the school.
Before Arrupe Jesuit, Kim gained diverse fundraising experience at the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, Morris Animal Foundation, and Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation. She can trace her interest in development work all the way back to Colorado State University. As a student caller for their "Call-A-Ram" program, she first learned how to connect donor interests with organizational needs.
Now based in Salt Lake City with her husband, two children, and two dogs, Kim enjoys the area's skiing, hiking, and camping opportunities, as well as its vibrant and diverse community.
