Gloria Rivera

FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST

Gloria began her career with non profit work at her alma mater, Cristo Rey New York High School. As an Advancement Officer she had the privilege of working in events, alumni relations, and communications. Her work inspired her to further pursue her education after realizing she had a passion for using her writing as a vehicle for social justice. She recently received her graduate degree from Syracuse University in Arts Journalism and Communications. She hopes to use her new degree and her experience in advancement to create awareness of initiatives near to her heart. She now sits on the Advisory Committee at Cristo Rey New York to continue her work towards educational equality.

Gloria is a native New Yorker who loves to explore and learn new things about the city. She currently resides in Brooklyn and enjoys taking walks through Prospect Park and discovering new recipes to make for her grandparents.
