Gil has a strong background in education and finance. He began his teaching career at De La Salle North Catholic High School, a Cristo Rey Network school in Portland, Oregon, where he taught math and assisted with the Corporate Internship Program. Gil is the proud product of Catholic education and believes firmly in Catholic schools’ mission to provide holistic, rigorous, and faith filled education to students of all backgrounds.

After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, Gil worked in financial consulting for several years before transitioning over to education. He earned a Ph.D. in Theology from the University of Notre Dame. For the past four years, Gil has served as the Director of Campus Ministry and a theology teacher at Loyola School in New York. Gil resides with his wife and two young sons in Northern New Jersey. He and his wife help lead the baptism ministry at their local parish.
