Devany Baez Taveras

Devany Báez Taveras is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience supporting executives, leading strategic initiatives, and strengthening organizational effectiveness across the nonprofit and private sectors.

For eight years, Devany served at the Jesuits USA East Province Office, where she supported the Provincial Assistant for Secondary and Pre-Secondary Education, providing executive and operational support for a network of 29 Jesuit middle and high schools across the East Coast. In this role, she coordinated province-wide initiatives, oversaw complex scheduling and travel logistics for province leadership, planned leadership meetings and conferences, facilitated communication among school presidents, principals, and Jesuit leadership, and supported strategic projects that strengthened collaboration across the province's education network.

Known for her collaborative leadership style, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex initiatives, Devany is passionate about building systems that improve efficiency, strengthen relationships, and advance organizational mission. She is committed to servant leadership and believes that thoughtful operations are the foundation of sustainable impact.

Devany earned her Bachelor of Arts from Skidmore College and her Master of Public Administration, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management, from Baruch College.
