Alexandra Castellano

FUNDRAISING STRATEGIST

Alex is a non-profit professional with extensive knowledge of donor relations, event planning, and fundraising strategy and communications. In addition to her time with DMD Consulting, Alex serves as the Associate Director of Advancement for Cristo Rey New York High School. Prior to her time at CRNYHS, she worked for the Muscular Dystrophy Association where she ran grassroots fundraising campaigns, and before that spent 10 years in a private sector sales management. With a combined 14 years of client service experience, Alex excels at donor stewardship and retention.

She earned her BA in English from Fordham University where she sharpened her ability to tell an effective story, and learned firsthand the values of a Jesuit curriculum. She is an avid believer in equitable education initiatives, which are the root of her passion for nonprofit work.

Alex resides in Connecticut with her husband and two young daughters. She enjoys spending time with them, volunteering at their school, and running.
